Addison Wilkins Oliver

Addison Wilkins Oliver of South Boston, VA passed away March 7, 2023.  He was born in Lynchburg, VA on November 28, 1944 and was 78 years of age.  He was the son of the late James Edward Oliver, II and the late Virginia Lee Wilkins Oliver.

He was a member of Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church where he served as a Deacon and he also served in the United States Navy in a Polaris Ballistic Nuclear Submarine.  Addison enjoyed farming part time while working at Carolina Power and Light.  Upon his retirement he continued farming and enjoying the outdoors.

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 24, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Jude Swanson officiating.
