Amy Throckmorton Elliott

Mrs. Amy Throckmorton Elliott of Halifax, VA Passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on January 14, 1955 and was 66 years old.  She was the daughter of the late Spencer Stebbins Throckmorton, Sr. and the late Lila Petty Rumbaugh and was married to the late Michael Lee Elliott.  She was a member of McCanless United Methodist Church.  She was a 25-year employee of Presto and then worked at Pacific Headwear until her retirement. She loved playing the lottery, especially Pick 3.

A memorial service will be held at McCanless United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Johnny Tucker officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the funeral and other times at the home of Dax and Carisa Elliott, 2202 Cherry Hill Church Road, South Boston.
