Annie Mae S. Satterfield

Annie Mae S. Satterfield of South Boston passed away on November 14, 2025 at the blessed age of 99. She was born in Halifax County on June 7, 1926 to the late William Henry Satterfield and the Mary Ann Rottler Satterfield. She was married to the late Marion Randolph Satterfield, and she was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her grandson, Jason Lee Scruggs; two great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; siblings, Leona Huskey and Richard Satterfield, both of Sacramento, CA; host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Scruggs; siblings, Jackson Satterfield, William Henry, Clarence Satterfield and Florence Satterfield.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Pleasant Grove Christian Church. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
