Audrey Powell Pittard

Audrey Powell Pittard of Halifax, VA passed away February 3, 2022.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on January 13, 1933 and was 89 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Mel Lacy Powell and the late Martha Nolan Powell. She was married to the late Johnnie Edward Pittard, Sr.

She was a member of First Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir. Audrey loved flowers, gardening and cooking.

A graveside service will be held Monday, February 7, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Halifax Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Susan Davis and Rev. Garrett Bowman officiating.

The family will receive friends Monday, from 12:30 until 1:30 at Powell Funeral Home.
