Barry Thomas Webb

Barry Thomas Webb of Halifax passed away on April 1, 2026 at the age of 63. He was born in Halifax County on November 30, 1962 to Evelyn Oakes Webb who survives and the late J.T. “Spike” Webb, Jr.

He was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church. With a big smile and kind spirit, Barry believed in living life to the fullest and did so by spending time with his children and family, riding his Harley Davidson, hunting with the News Ferry Hunt Club, was a gun enthusiast, and loved bass fishing. His family and friends loved him dearly.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his children, Jennifer Ellington (Josh) of Midlothian, Amanda Webb of Virgilina and Zachary Webb of Danville; two grandchildren, Dustin and Jorja Ellington; one brother, Ronnie Webb (Cheryl) of Halifax.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Wilkins officiating.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.
