Bette Jean Hughes Noss

Bette Jean Hughes Noss of Burlington, NC passed away August 13, 2021.  She was born in St. Paul, MN on September 13, 1924 and was 96 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Roger Hughes and the late Bessie Allen Hughes. She was married to the late Oscar Fritz Noss, Jr.

She loved doing crossword puzzles in several languages, telling stories, playing and teaching Bridge and a positive influence on everyone she met. Bette loved traveling the world with her husband and was a member of the Bamboo Circle in South Korea.

Her remains will be interred on the family farm in Halifax County, Va.
