Betty Braddy Arthur

Betty Owen Braddy Arthur age 80, passed away April 21, 2023.  She was born in South Hill, VA to the late Jake Braddy and the late Alva Page Dawson Braddy on December 30, 1942.  She was married to Thomas Calvin Arthur who survives.

She was a member of Berry Hill Presbyterian Church.  Betty was a retired beautician from the Hair Hutch.  Betty loved her family and friends and especially loved to cook for them. Betty will be missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the  Rev. Harvey Spencer officiating. Burial to follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter.
