Betty Lane Davis Ford

Betty Lane Davis Ford of Halifax County, VA passed away August 11, 2019.  She was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on December 5, 1938 and was 80 years of age.  She was the daughter of the late Whit William Lane and the late Lona Crews Lane. She was married James Wallace Ford who survives.

Betty was an excellent mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and loved her church, South Boston Church of God, and her church family. She loved praising and worshiping God and was a strong prayer warrior.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at South Boston Church of God with the Rev. T. Wayne Daniel officiating. Burial to follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
