Betty Smith Sneed

Betty Smith Sneed of Halifax, VA passed away May 22, 2022.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on October 16, 1951, and was 70 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Thomas E. Smith and the late Martha Martin Smith.

She was a long-time member of Bethel Baptist Church. Betty loved to bake cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. She will be remembered as a loving and caring lady who loved to do for others.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Moen and Rev. Greg Thomas officiating. Burial to follow in church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at 3110 East Hyco Road, South Boston, VA.
