Beverly Carol Holt Crews

Beverly Carol Holt Crews of South Boston, VA passed away November 28, 2022.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on May 26, 1946 and was 76 years of age.  She was the daughter of the late Rudd M. Holt, II and the late Florence Raye Loftis Simmons.  She was the stepdaughter of the late Paul G. (Papa Paul) Simmons.  She was married to the late Dannie Ray Crews.

She was a member of Union United Methodist Church.  Beverly loved flowers, animals, loved to cook for her family and loved the Native American culture and was an avid reader.  Beverly will be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Union Methodist Church with the Rev. Thad Decker officiating.  The family will also receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 6:00 until 7:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home and other times at her home.
