Brenda Spencer McPeters

Brenda Spencer McPeters of Scottsburg, VA passed away August 16, 2021 at her home in Scottsburg. Her spirit returned to the God who gave it as stated in his word in Ecclesiastes 12: 6-7, “or ever the silver cord be loosed (spinal cord) or the golden bowl broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain (heart) or the wheel broken at the cistern”: Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the “spirit shall return into God who gave it.”  

Brenda was a beautiful, vibrant and energic woman who loved people and loved to do God’s work. She was blessed in so many ways her entire life. Surely, she was special in God’s eyes and will return to God to be a beautiful Angel for eternity.

She worked for Virginia Tech prior to becoming Clerk of the General District Court for Halifax County.
