Brigid Moran Layman

Brigid Moran Layman 35, of Halifax, VA passed away peacefully on December 16, 2023.  She was born in Nassau, NY on November 28, 1988 to Eileen Magnussen Moran who survives and the late Donald F. Moran, Jr. She was married to Adam Wayne Layman who survives.

She was of the Christian Faith, a member of the Lion’s Club, Junior Women’s Club and Chamber of Commerce and worked as an agent at Farm Bureau.  Brigid was a Co-owner and operator of Factory Street Brewery where she was a Master Brewer and loved creating new drinks and meeting people.  She lived big and loved big.  To know her was an honor and a joy shared by those who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Factory Street Brewing Company, 210 Factory Street, South Boston, VA.
