Carolyn Hite McGhee

Carolyn Hite McGhee of Halifax, VA passed away December 4, 2019.  She was born in Mecklenburg, VA on April 25, 1934 and was 85 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Johnnie Cornelius Hite and the late Avis Blanks Hite. She was married to the late William Augustus Giles McGhee, Sr.

She was a member of Beth Car Baptist Church and a graduate of Clarksville High School.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Eldridge Cullum officiating. Committal rites will follow the service in the Powell Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends Saturday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, 1047 Evergreen Tr., Halifax, VA.
