Carroll Anderson "Road Doctor" Solomon

Mr. Carroll Anderson “Road Doctor” Solomon of South Boston, VA passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital.  He was born in Halifax County, VA on July 13, 1939 and was 79 years old.  He was the son of the late W. Odell Solomon and Alease Tune Solomon and was engaged to Michele Garber Anderson.  He was a member of First Crossroads Baptist Church and attended Arbor Baptist Church.  He was employed with Virginia Carolina Paving Company and was a 7 year veteran of the National Guard.  He was a lifetime member of Turbeville Vol. Fire Department and a 14 year member of the Halifax County Rescue Squad.  He loved being outdoors, especially if it involved golfing, hunting, and fishing.  He was also fond of dancing, singing, country music, and performed with The Masters Four Gospel Quarter.  Most of all, he loved life.
