Charles Lacy Fisher

Mr. Charles Lacy Fisher of Volens, VA passed away ON Saturday, July 18, 2020 at his home. He was born in Halifax County May 15, 1932 and was 88 years old. He was the son of the late Onie Hudnell Fisher and the late Caroline Cornelia Brown Fisher and was married to Betty Richards Fisher who survives. He was a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church and was retired from Westinghouse. He loved riding through Volens, car races on TV, and was especially fond of his dog Lacy. Survivors include: his wife Betty R. Fisher of Volens One daughter Dale Ann Carpentier (Jean) of Myrtle Beach, SC One son Charles Wayne Fisher Sr. (Barbara) of Volens One daughter-in-law Devery Wade Fisher of Volens One sister Vera Francis Glass of South Boston Step daughter Tanya Waller of Salisbury, NC Step son Lawrence White (Darlene) of Brookneal, VA Seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren Brothers-in-law Jack Richards and Dickie Richards both of Kenbridge, VA Sisters-in-law Maxine Robertson, Barbara Phillips, Marie Dudley, and Gail Henry His ex-wife Ella Mae Francis Fisher of Volens He was preceded in death by one son, Conald Louis Fisher, and by six brothers and two sisters A Memorials Service will be held at a latter date.
