Claiborne "Kip" Coleman Pottage, Jr.

Claiborne Coleman “Kip” Pottage, Jr. of South Boston passed away August 7, 2024 at the age of 47. He was born in Halifax County, VA on January 4, 1977 to Mary Ellen Rickman Lowery and the late Claiborne Coleman Pottage, Sr. 

 He was of the Christian faith. Kip lived life to the fullest and loved horses, hunting, fishing, and boating. He loved spending time with friends and family but especially enjoyed being with his children.

 A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Russell Terry officiating. Burial to follow in St. John’s Episcopal Church Cemetery.

 The family will receive friends on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.
