Clayton Ronald Fallen

Clayton Ronald Fallen of Nathalie passed away on July 21, 2025 at the age of 78. He was born in Halifax County to the late Oda Pearlman Fallen, Sr. and the late Hattie Watts Fallen. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Clayton was a member of Ellis Creek Baptist Church. He found great joy working with animals and with the land, which made him a successful farmer. He also drove a bus for the Halifax County School System and loved the kids on his bus.

He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Wanda Crews Fallen; two daughters, Jennifer Rickmond (Kent) of Surry, VA and Jamie Harvey (Michael) of Nathalie; three grandchildren, Dottie Harvey, Judson Rickmond, and Maggie Harvey; one brother, Carlton Fallen (Anne) of Drakes Branch.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Fallen; siblings, O.P. Fallen Jr., Samuel Fallen, Thelma Fallen Seamster and Mabel Fallen Seamster.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Ellis Creek Baptist Church with Alan Epps officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery with Military Rites.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 7:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home and other times at his home.
