Clifton Norman Daniel, Jr.

Mr. Clifton Norman Daniel, Jr. of South Boston, VA passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the South Boston Health and Rehab.  He was born in Halifax County, VA on December 5, 1939 and was 82 years old.  He was the son of the late Clifton Norman Daniel, Sr. and the late Lucille Overstreet Daniel and was married to Barbara Daniel, who survives.

He was a member of Faith Community Church where he served as a deacon and was a 50-year member of Halifax Masonic Lodge #96.  Norman retired from Big Star Grocery store where he was the produce manager.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dane Skelton officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Powell Funeral Home and other times at his home.
