Connie Snead Bomar Day

Connie Snead Bomar Day of South Boston passed away August 3, 2025 at the age of 69. She was born in Halifax County on August 13, 1955 to the late Charlie D. Snead and the late Pauline Rickman Snead. She was married thirty-seven years to Michael Eugene Day who survives.

Connie attended Grace Baptist Church. She loved to travel, planning parties for her family and friends, and to decorate her home for the holidays, especially Christmas. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and a great grandmother; she was a kind, thoughtful lady who was always there for family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Leslie Lewis (Steve) of Nathalie and Megan Wilkins (Scott) of Nelson, VA; grandchildren, Blair Powell (Jason), Tori Lewis (Chris Wilson), Wyatt Wilkins, Walker Wilkins, Millie Wilkins and Wes Wilkins; one great grandchild, Ripley Powell

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Stewart officiating. Burial to follow in Mt. Laurel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
