Corinne Lloyd Williams

Corinne Lloyd Williams 92 passed away on Aug 18, 2021 at Commonweath Senior Living facility in South Boston, Va. She was the wife of the late John R Williams, Jr with whom she shared 37 years of marriage. 

Born in South Boston, VA she was the daughter of Luther and Minnie Lloyd and sister of Louise Lloyd Wyatt. She graduated from C.H. Friend High School and she worked as an executive secretary at Reynold's Metal in Richmond, as a secretary at the local radio station WHLF, and for the local news paper where she met her husband. 

She was a member of The First Presbyterian Church in South Boston and the Halifax County Country Club where she became an avid and a good golfer. She enjoyed her group a friends who alternated hosting a gourmet meal night, was in the bridge club, and loved to fish. 

She is survived by step children Katherine Langston Williams Austin, John R Williams III, a nephew Michael Wyatt, a niece Anne Wyatt McDaniel a great nephew and 2 great nieces. 

A grave side service will be held at a later date.
