Curtis Daniel Seamster, Sr.

Curtis Daniel Seamster, Sr. of South Boston, VA passed away August 26, 2019.  He was born in Halifax County, VA on August 12, 1935 and was 84 years of age. He was the son of the late Lester Howard Seamster and the late Lilly Mae Whitemore Seamster. He was married to Barbara L. Kates Seamster who survives.

He was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Wilkins officiating. Burial to follow in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home and other times at his home, 2055 Mt. Zion Church Rd., South Boston, VA 24592.
