Dabney Alvin Cosby, Jr.

Dabney Alvin Cosby, Jr. 70, of Vernon Hill passed away on January 2, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was born in Danville, VA on January 12, 1953 to Nell Puryear Cosby and the late Dabney Alvin Cosby, Sr.  He was married to Cathy Moore Cosby who survives.

He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.  Alvin was the owner and operator of Cosby’s Body Shop for many years.  He was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed being outdoors.
