Daniel James Koutsos

Mr. Daniel James Koutsos of Halifax, VA passed away, June 20, 2023 at Lynchburg General Hospital.  He was born in Washington, D.C. on August 25, 1945 and was 78 years of age.  He was the son of the late James John Koutsos and the late Angelina Cokinos Koutsos.  He was married to the late Betty Ann Junes and they were married on June 17, 1989 at Sophia Greek Orthodox Church of Washington, D.C.  Mr. Koutsos was of the Christian Faith and a retired asbestos worker with Union Local 24.

Mr. Daniel J. Koutsos is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Ann Zimmerman Schaible and husband Tony of Dunedin, Fl.   One Granddaughter, Arielle Ann Zimmerman of Tampa, Fl., his friends at McDonalds and Dorothy and James Ferrell.  

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
