Dawn Lee Herbst Nemac

It is with profound sadness and enduring love that we announce the passing of Dawn Lee Herbst Nemac — a cherished wife, devoted mother, and radiant soul whose presence graced the lives of all who knew her.

Born on February 26, 1965, in Port Jervis, New York, Dawn brought warmth, strength, and compassion into the world from the very beginning. Her life was marked by quiet resilience, unwavering faith, and a deep commitment to those she loved.

Dawn was a beautiful, loving, and caring person who could brighten any room she walked into — always with a smile. Her kindness was effortless, her joy contagious, and her presence a comfort to all. She lived with grace and gave generously of her heart, leaving behind a legacy of love and light.

She is survived by her forever loving husband, Frank Nemac; her daughters, Lynsie Nemac and Brooke Nemac (Nick Rouse); and her two beloved grandchildren, Rylee and Kailey Rouse. Also surviving are her mother, Sandra O'Heren; her sisters, Leslie Swingle (John Swingle) and Danielle Newton; as well as her nieces and nephews. Dawn's devotion to her family was the cornerstone of her life, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she nurtured and inspired.

A memorial service will be held at Woodbine Vineyards on Saturday, October 18th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a blessing to follow in accordance with her faith and the wishes of her family.

There will be an opportunity for anyone who would like to share their love and memories of Dawn. In tribute to her wishes, the evening will continue with music and dancing, as she wanted it to be a celebration of her life. The event will conclude with the release of sky lanterns.

May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by light and love.
