Deborah Kay Davis

Deborah “Kay” Davis of South Boston, VA passed away on May 12, 2025 at the age of 71. She was born in Halifax County on January 3, 1954 to the late Orey Kent Davis and the late Lottie Thelma Daniel Davis.

She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Kay loved her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her son Adan Davis (family) of Mebane, NC; her brother, Earl Kent “Bookie” Davis (family) of Vernon Hill; two nieces, Angelica Estrada (family) of Timberlake, NC, Erica Celeste Perkins (family) of South Boston. She was preceded in death by one sister Sheila Hope Davis.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with Andre’ Jordan officiating. Burial to follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home, Wednesday afternoon from 4:00 until 5:30 P.M. at the home of Erica, 907 Berry Hill Rd., South Boston, and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the Kingdom Hall.
