Mr. Donald Robert “Donny” Dyer, 50, of South Boston, VA passed away July 25, 2025 at his home. He was born June 26, 1975 in South Boston to Elizabeth Trent Wallen who survives and the late George Washington Dyer Jr.

A dedicated Master Plumber by trade, Donny was known not only for his craftsmanship but also for his remarkable character that touched the lives of many within his community. With a heart as vast as the kindness he shared, Donny was always the first to lend a helping hand. Whatever the need, he responded with generosity, embodying the phrase "give the shirt off his back" in every sense. His love and compassion extended beyond words; they were evident in his actions, making him a cherished son, father, brother, and friend to those fortunate enough to cross his path.

Survivors Include: his mother, Elizabeth Trent Wallen and husband Richard; siblings, Richard Wallen Jr. (Alex), Tracey White (Kenny), Richard Powell Jr. (Tricia), Angel Spangler (Dwight), Gloria DeYoung (Dan), Sandy Marchant (Dwayne); his children, Collin Loftis, Caleb Dyer, Jacob Dyer, Cara Dyer, and Kade Dyer; granddaughter, Kenleigh Dyer; host of nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his father George W. Dyer Jr.; grandparents, George and Frances Dyer, Albert and Elizabeth Trent; sister Tina Dyer Smith, and nephew, Tyler Matherly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
