Doris King Hunt

Doris Irene King Hunt of Nathalie passed away January 10, 2024 at the age of 89. She was born in Chester, PA on September 1, 1934 to the late Julian Holt King and the late Aleyne Graves King. She was married to Irvin Lacy Hunt who survives.

She was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church, Faith Mennonite Church, and First Baptist of Republican Grove. Doris retired from Halifax County School System as a school bus driver and an aide in the Agriculture Department after more than 25 years of dedicated service. She was an active member of her community and churches and she always assisted in any way that she could. Doris’ greatest joy was her family.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Mulberry Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Foster and Rev. Latta Terry officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
