Edith Moorefield Talley

Edith Moorefield Talley of Alton, VA passed away October 29, 2019.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on July 6, 1920 and was 99 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Henry Moorefield and the late Ruth Edwards Moorefield.

She was a member of Alton Baptist Church and was the oldest living member. She retired from Belk after many years of dedicated service.

A funeral service will be held Friday, November 1, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Alton Baptist Church with the Rev. Vance Midget and Rev. David Wade officiating. Burial to follow in church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
