Edward Dean Wilborn

Edward Dean “Poncho” Wilborn of Scottsburg, VA passed away December 18, 2021 from Congestive Heart Failure.  He was born in South Boston, VA on February 4, 1964 and was 57 years of age. He was the son of the late Raymond Edward Wilborn and the late Lillian Irene Hudson.

He was a former truck driver which was his passion. Edward loved animals and rescued many. Edward also loved children and spent every year distributing toys to disadvantaged children. To honor his memory please take heart health seriously and take care of yourself.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Bryant officiating.  

The family will receive friends Saturday, one hour prior to the service.
