Elsie "Peggy" Mae Conner

Elsie Mae “Peggy” Conner of Halifax, VA passed away May 25, 2020.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on February 9, 1934 and was 86 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Edward Thomas Conner and the late Mary Elizabeth Whitlow Conner Claiborne.

She was a member of the Presbyterian faith.  Peggy was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who dearly loved her family.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Pleasant Grove United Christian Church Cemetery with the Pastor Rodney Dalton officiating. In keeping with CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19, funeral service for will be livestreamed via Powell Funeral Home’s Facebook page.
