Eunice Bailey Loyd

Eunice Bailey Loyd of South Boston passed away November 18, 2025 at the age of 86. She was born in Charlotte County, Virginia on June 20, 1939 to the late Doss Beadles and the late Georgia Hamlette Beadles. She was married to the late John Henry Loyd.

Eunice was a member of Ellis Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching her soap operas daily. Eunice will be missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Joan Perkins of South Boston; one nephew Tommy Beadles (Carolanne) of Alton. Host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, November 23, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at Ellis Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Thad Decker officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times at the home of Joan, 1144 Alphonse Dairy Rd., South Boston.
