Frances W. Hall

Frances Bailey Wilson Hall of South Boston, VA passed away November 24, 2020.  She was born in Mecklenburg, VA on January 1, 1938 and was 82 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Bailey Wilson and the late Geneva Rainey Wilson. She was married to the John Ramsey Hall, Jr. who survives.

She was a member of Second Baptist Church.  Frances loved her family and especially enjoyed teaching her grandkids how to cook and crochet. She was a very artist person and loved painting, cake decorating and flower arranging.

A graveside service will be held Friday, November 27, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Black Walnut Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff McCarthy officiating. In keeping with CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19, face mask and social distancing are suggested. The funeral service for Mrs. Hall will be livestream via Powell Funeral Home’s Facebook page.

The family will receive friends following the service.
