Frances Terry Myers

Mrs. Frances Terry Myers of Halifax, VA passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at her home. She was born September 8, 1928, in Pittsylvania County, VA and was 95 years old. She was the daughter of the late Harold C. Terry and the late Mamie Reeves Terry. She was married for 75 years to the late Henry L. “Pete” Myers.

 Frances was a member of the Beth Car Baptist Church. She also was a member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary and the Halifax Garden Club. Mrs. Myers enjoyed spending her free time gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.

 A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2024, 11:00 a.m., at Beth Car Baptist Church (25 Church St. Halifax, VA 24558) with the Rev. Thad Decker and Rev. George Schutte officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior at the church. Burial to follow at Halifax Memorial Gardens.
