Garnett Richardson Lowe

Garnett Richardson Lowe of South Boston, VA passed away March 6, 2022.  She was born in Portsmouth, VA on July 21, 1924 and was 97 years of age. She was the daughter of the late M.H. Richardson and the late Mildred Stokes Richardson. She was married to the late William Lee Lowe.

Even at 97 years old, Garnett was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church in South Boston. In her love for service to her church, she sang in the choir and was a member of the Altar Guild. She was also a member of the Tuesday Women’s Club for many years. Garnett retired from Fuller-Roberts Clinic as an Administrative Assistant after many dedicated years of service.

While most of Garnett's family preceded her in death, she was loved dearly by the Rosche Family Lisa and Willie Emily (and Jason) New, Sarah, Megan (Jacob) Clark, Cory (Mayghan), Ethan, Nicholas and Isabel. And also, her friend Rosa Coles. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Trinity Episcopal Church with the Very Rev. Susan Grimm officiating.
