H. Carson Douglas

2021. Carson Douglas of Nathalie, VA passed away February 25, 2021. He was born in Lynchburg, VA on December 7, 1948 and was 72 years of age. He was the son of the late Hubert Coolidge Douglas and the late Pauline Ward Douglas. He was married to the late Louise Davis Douglas.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Millstone and Staunton River Hunting Club. Carson loved hunting, fishing, watching TV and especially his puppy, Peanut.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist church of Millstone with the Rev. Barry Fero. officiating. Burial to follow in church cemetery. In keeping with CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19, we recommend the wearing of face masks and to practice social distancing. The memorial service for will be livestream via Powell Funeral Home’s Facebook page.

The family will receive friends Thursday, one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at his home, 1067 Millstone Church Trail, Nathalie.
