Harriett Lewis Clark

Harriett Lewis Clark of Sutherlin passed away on May 11, 2026 at the age of 90. She was born in Pittsylvania County on April 16, 1936 to the late Harry Lewis and the late Merle Tucker Lewis. She was married to the late Lee Andrew Clark, Jr.

Harriett was a member of St. John’s Episcopal. She was an avid horse rider and continued to ride up into her early 80s. Harriett was a professional hunting dog trainer and at one time she owned a champion Boykin Spaniel.

Left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Lee Andrew Clark, III (Caroline) of Signal Mt, TN, Harry Lewis Clark (Karen) of McLean, VA, Hollins Peel Clark (Adele) of Southern Pines, NC; and ten grandchildren.
