Helen Anderson Owen

Helen Anderson Owen of Clover, VA passed away August 6, 2020.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on March 18, 1932 and was 88 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Henry Doc Anderson and the late Lillie Crews Anderson. She was married to the late Willie Green “Billy” Owen.

She was a member of Hunting Creek Baptist Church where she was a former choir member.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 9, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Hunting Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Sean McGuire officiating. In keeping with CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19, mask will be required and the funeral service for will be livestreamed via Powell Funeral Home’s Facebook page.

The family will receive friends Sunday one hour prior to the service at Hunting Creek Baptist Church and other times at her home.
