Henry Lee Adams

Henry “Lee” Adams 80 years old of Lynch Station, VA and resided in Halifax the last two years, passed away on December 14, 2025.

He was born in Pittsylvania County on May 13, 1945 to the late Ellis Henry Adams and the late Florence McGregor Adams.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Lisa Gail Adams of Halifax; one sister Rosann Oakes (Robert Lee) of Halifax and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his ex-wife Ruth Medley Adams; son Nicholas “Nick” Adams; his siblings, Jesse W. Adams, Frank W. Adams, Roy Junior Adams and Shirley Jean Adams.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ian Rigney officiating. Burial to follow in St Paul’s Episcopal Church Cemetery in Java, Virginia.

The family will receive friends Thursday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.
