Howard Davis Powell

Mr. Howard Davis Powell of Randolph, VA passed away Friday, August 14, 2020 at his home.  He was born February 1, 1940 in Halifax County, VA and was 80 years old.  He was the son of the late Wilson Hagood Powell and the late Lucy Hazelwood Powell and was married to Barbara Hazelwood Powell for 60 years.

He was a devoted Christian and retired logger.

Nine Great-Grandchildren

Calvin, Katelyn, Addison, Natalie, Marissa, Lisa, William, Julia, Colton

One brother, Richard Wilson Powell (Brenda)

One sister, Virginia “Mollie” Welch

A number of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly

One brother, Floyd Powell, Sr.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. AT THE Fork Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Warfield officiating, Burial will follow at the Clover Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Fork Baptist Church and other times at his home.
