Inez Guill Collie Noblin

Mrs. Inez Guill Collie Noblin of South Boston, VA passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital. She was born in Halifax County on June 26, 1922 and was 96 years old.  She was the daughter of the late Luther Holt Guill and Eunice Marie Allen Guill and was married to the late Alvin Noblin.  She was a member of First Baptist Church and worked for Leggett Department Store which later became Belks for over 39 years. A funeral service will be held at Powell Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Pat Neilson and Rev Susan Davis officiating.  Burial will follow at Halifax Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home on Tuesday for 1 hour prior to the service and other times at the home of her sister Peggy Snead, 1105 Owens Avenue, South Boston.
