Irvin Lacy Hunt

Irvin Lacy Hunt of Nathalie passed away April 3, 2024 at the age of 91.  He was born in Halifax County, VA on July 16, 1932 to the late Memory Ryland Hunt and the late Effie Arthur Hunt. He was married for seventy years to the late Doris Irene King Hunt who recently passed away on January 10, 2024.

At the time of his passing, he was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church and previously held memberships at First Baptist Church of Republican Grove, and Faith Mennonite Church.  Irvin was a retired plumbing and electrical contractor and farmer.  He found great joy working with the land, gardening, seeing things grow and watching birds.  He will be greatly missed by his family and community.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Mulberry Baptist Church with the Rev. Shelton Miles and Rev. Randy Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
