Jean Zickefoose Daniel

Jean Huskey Zickefoose Daniel of South Boston, VA passed away February 5, 2023.  She was born in South Boston, VA on January 15, 1930 and was 93 years of age.  She was the daughter of the late Landrum Crawley Huskey and the late Alma Leadbetter Huskey.  She was married to the late Exel Zickefoose.

She was a member of Southside Baptist Church where she served on the finance, and pastoral committees.  Jean loved singing in the church choir where she shared her loved of music.   She was former owner of Ziggy’s Restaurant and was well known for her pizzas.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 10, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Bryant officiating.  Private family burial will be held at a later date.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in church fellowship hall.
