Jeannine Perkins Hall

Jeannine Perkins Hall was born August 28, 1943 in Hamburg, Arkansas and peacefully joined her Lord and Savior March 1, 2024.  She is survived by her loving husband Richard of 46 years, five stepchildren: Richard Hall, Susan Hall Jernigan (Tony), Debra Hall, Daniel Hall, and Sharon Hall.  Ten grandchildren, and three siblings; Lloyd Collins (Ruby), Billy Perkins, and Marilyn Pullian (Chuck).  She was preceded in death by one son, John Hammond, and her parents: Terry and Della Perkins.

Jeannine was a passionate follower and servant of the Lord, an avid student and teacher of the Bible, and shared the Gospel every opportunity she had.  She loved her husband and family deeply, and those who encountered her felt her unconditional love and acceptance.  Her home was refuge—a safe place from the struggles and challenges in life, a place where you could be real and raw, and always loved, accepted, and encouraged.

After turning the pages in her Bible, she loved to get her hands in the dirt—raising beautiful flowers, herbs, and spices.  A Master Gardener and named the “herb lady”.  Even while bedridden for several years, she continued to share her knowledge of special blends of oils and herbs.

Friends and strangers constantly gathered around her bedside to learn, to listen, to laugh, and to cry.  Jeannine “adopted” everyone she met and laughingly called them “her” sons, daughters, sisters, or brothers.

Jeannine spent her life enjoying her Lord and Savior, Jesus and making Him known to everyone listening ear available.  A lover of God’, a lover of family, a lover of people, and she will continue to live in all our sweet memories.  Thank you, Lord, for Jeannine.
