Jeraleen Hall Satterfield

Jeraleen Hall Satterfield of Halifax passed away on August 22, 2025 at the age of 83. She was born in Halifax County on August 31, 1941 to the late George Lynn Hall and the late Nannie Morris Hall.

She was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church. Jeraleen retired from Burlington Industries after many years of dedicated service. She enjoyed gardening, dancing, visiting with people and especially Sunday rides with “Baby Boy”.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Rebecca “Becky” P. Smith of Halifax, Teresa Satterfield Lewis (Tom) of Halifax, James A. “Tony” Perkins (Joyce); grandchildren, Casey Wade, Jessica Perkins (Curtis), and Taylor Lewis. She also leaves behind her siblings, Melvin L. Hall (Sharon) of South Boston, Earl Hall (Ellen) of Halifax, Edith Henderson (Sammy) of Halifax; sister-in-law, Barbara Hall; nieces and nephews, Darwin Hall, Amy Hall, Scott Hall, Jamie Hall and Christopher Henderson.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded by grandson, Jason Smith, brother, James Hall, and sister-in-law, Bennetta Hall

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel.
