Jerry Thomas Carter

Mr. Jerry Thomas “Bubba” Carter of South Boston, VA passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital. He was born August 2, 1935 in Halifax County, VA and was 86 years old. He was the son of the late Gilbert Thomas Carter and the late Edna Hall Carter and was married to Gail McCrary Carter, who survives. He was a member of the Gravel Hill Baptist Church, a United States Air Force veteran and he retired from Virginia Power where he was the director of customer service. Jerry loved fishing, golfing and piddling in his man cave at home.
