Karen Waldie Puryear

Karen Waldie Puryear of Scottsburg passed away on October 18, 2020. She was born in Macon, GA on August 18, 1957 and was 63 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Chris V. Waldie and the late Virginia Lloyd Waldie. She was married to the late Cecil Puryear.

Karen worked with Fluor Daniels Construction. She loved the outdoors, traveling, and meeting new people. Her family and the Lord were precious to her. Karen’s greatest love was that of animals, especially dogs. A Bassett Hound named Ginny was her world, losing her broke her heart.
