Katherine Blackstock Crews

Mrs. Katherine Blackstock Crews of Nathalie VA passed away on October 31, 2021 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born in Halifax County on December 13, 1928 and was 92 years old. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Blackstock and the late Minnie Salmon Blackstock and was married to the late Clarence Edward Crews. She was a member of Hunting Creek Baptist Church. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her eyes and she really enjoyed cooking for all of her family. Survivors include: Her daughter Susan Crews Overstreet of Nathalie Her sister Vernell B. Oakes of South Boston Her brother Harvey Blackstock of Nathalie Six grandchildren Andrew Jones of South Boston Christopher Irby of Roanoke Karyn Baker of Lynchburg Gary Jones of Nathalie Michael Irby of South Boston Dale Jones of Nathalie Two great grandchildren Alex Curran of Lynchburg Eli Irby of South Boston Host of nieces and nephews A memorial service will be held at a later date.
