Kathleen W. McGhee

Mrs. Kathleen Wilson Hardy McGhee of Halifax, VA passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at her home.  She was born June 3, 1922 in Halifax County, VA and was 99 years old.  She was the daughter of the late Matthew Green Hardy and the late Lilly Mae Williams Tucker Hardy and was married to the late James Richard McGhee, III.

She was a member of the Beth Car Baptist Church and a retired LPN from the Halifax Regional Hospital where she was known as “Granny Mchee”.

One niece, Barbara Jane Armel

Private graveside will be held with a memorial service to be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Beth Car Baptist with the Rev. Reggie Warren officiating.
