Kenneth Cecil Elliott, Sr.

Mr. Kenneth Cecil “Ken” Elliott, Sr. of Vernon Hill, VA passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024 in Wilmington, NC. He was born in Halifax County, VA on August 5, 1962 and was 62 years old. He was the son of the late Cecil Morrell Elliott and Doris Cole Elliott and was married for 34 years to Julie Conner Elliott. He was a member of Scottsburg Baptist Church and was employed by Grand Springs. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved cooking and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Oakland Cemetery in Scottsburg with Rev. Bill Wilkins officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening at Powell Funeral Home from 7-8:30 PM and other times at his home.
