Kimberly Sue Beard

Kimberly Sue Beard of Halifax passed away May 21, 2024 at the age of 57.   She was born in Halifax County on September 5, 1966 to Nannie Sue Beard who survives and the late William Ledell Beard.

Kim enjoyed life and tried living it to its fullest.  She loved horseback riding with her horse “Dream”.  Kim loved all animals especially her pets Helga and two Dobermans, Major and Diamond.  She was a member of Mountain Road Baptist Church, Halifax.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Wilkins officiating. Burial to follow in the Beard Family Cemetery, 1181 Hall’s Trl., Halifax, VA.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home and other times at the home of her mother.
